Mission Statement

      The Sunfield Historical Society, Welch Museum is a non-profit making, permanent institution, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, and exhibits, for purposes of inspiring children, connecting families, and strengthening our communities.


​     Welcome to the Sunfield Historical Society website. We strive to make your visit an enjoyable adventure into our past.
     Our society archives are available for research at the Welch Historical Museum located at 160 Main Street, Sunfield. Here you will have access to research books, family histories, cemetery records, newspapers, death certificates, funeral home records, post cards & photo's and so much more.

Museum Galleries and Museum Gift Shop

  Summer Hours: April - November


Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Winter Hours: December - March

We will also open up the museum for you if you are unable to come during regular hours.

Coffee pot is always on, so stop by and enjoy the displays, they will bring back many pleasant memories.

Admission is free, donations are appreciated
